It's possible that the typo isn't the missing "a", but the "b". It's possible that you wanted to say "se cavó", like in: "se cavó su propia tumba" > "he's dug his own grave".

"Se acabó" - it's finished, it's over.

se cabo not se acabo - mark566, Oct 6, 2010
"se cabo" does not mean anything in Spanish. I'm assuming that it is a typo or a transcription mistake. - Gekkosan, Oct 6, 2010
Perhaps if you can provide more context, we can figure out what is it exactly that you need. - Gekkosan, Oct 6, 2010
Sorry, I meant "se a cabo" which is the ninth track on the Santana Greatest hits CD - mark566, Oct 6, 2010
I take it that he is making some play with the word, probably highlighting the way "se acabó" is pronounced when said in an emphatic manner. But the correct expression, I assure you, is "se acabó". - Gekkosan, Oct 6, 2010
Damn, I just listened to that record (Abraxas) a few days ago, and noticed the weird spelling of the title of that song.. I just didn't think you would be referring to *that* :P - bill1111, Oct 6, 2010

Not really.. the 3rd person of the preterite of "caber" is "él cupo". Cabó with graphic accent doesn't exist. "Cavó" instead is a valid word (preterite of "cavar"). - bill1111, Oct 6, 2010
