¿Podrían comprobar esta frase?
.....en un lugar en las montañas donde yo jamás he estado. What I originally wrote was-en un lugar en las montañas donde yo jamás he estado antes. I thought that this sounded pretty redundant, and I'm pretty sure I don't need antes because it is implied. Just not sure enough not to ask.

Yes, "antes" might sound a bit redundant, but if what you're writing is some kind of story, a short novel or something simmilar, it is okay to emphasize the idea. The only thing I would point out is the verb tense: if you are refering to a moment previous to what you are telling now (which didn't occur because you hadn't been there), I would say "donde yo jamás había estado antes". It's not that "he estado" is wrong, don't change it if you don't want to, it's just my opinion, not even a rule, I guess.
This is probably nitpicking, but if you say "en un lugar" before "en las montañas", you should probably change the preposition from "en" to "de", like this: "En un lugar de las montañas". However, "En un lugar en las montañas" is fine too, just a bit less common in usual speech.
