Should be written like this: ¿Cómo estás? = How are you? Estoy bien gracias. = I am fine thank you.

possible answers:
muy bien
así así
bien
todo bien
how are you today? = ¿cómo estás hoy?
my day sucked = Mi día fue malo
i dont feel good = No me siento bien
