Is "ámbito de aplicación" the correct way to say "scope of work" in terms of describing the boundaries and limitations of a particular project?

scope of work

The boundaries sounds appropriate, but I'm not sure that is the normal usage of scope of work in reference to a project. The scope of work is normally just a general breakdown of the work involved in accomplishing the project. It explains in general detail how the project will be performed and sometimes who will do what.

scope of work

Chronological division of work to be performed under a contract or subcontract in the completion of a project. Also called work scope.

Yours sounds more like Location of Work in the article above.

Hello Kareninic, welcome to the Forum. The expression you want is: "alcance(s) del proyecto"
