Hola a todos. Could someone please help me with the following:

I am trying to say "what a day I have had" (today) using the pretérito perfecto.

Is this correct -

"lo que un día he tenido"

Gracias.

The tense is correct, but you wouldn't say "lo que un" in this case, but "qué":

qué día he tenido

I assume, although I may be wrong, you are making the usual mistake that the English make and that is to translate word for word, although in this instance it almost worked. If I am not wrong in my assumption then you have to learn to get into the Spanish psyche and their way of speech.
