I need help creating a 5-6 line poem in spanish for my Xmas gifts

Hello all,

So my spanish is so so. (working on it). Anywho, I'm pregnant with my son Mateo who will be joining us circa 1/1/10...which means, that it is highly likely that we will see him (or not) for Xmas. Either way, this mama won't be tossing back any Coquito this year, prego or not.

So this is the task: Because of our wonderful surprise, we realize, with baby and Xmas shopping for a huge family, it's going to have to be a lot of homemade gifts this year just to get us through. What I have done for the past two years was make our very popular Coquito, bottle them up with cute labels or decorations for all the adult couples in the family. They seem to enjoy it mucho. smile So this year, I wanted the theme of the bottles to be a tad on the funny side and emphasize how I can't drink, but the person who I'm giving the gift to can...along with the daddy! So the message will be from Mateo, our baby.

I wanted to start off my saying if "by Xmas todavia estoy adentro"...and...that is where I stopped. Was caught between making it spanglish like the above or starting off by saying "si todavia estoy adentro.."...basically the jist is, "Mami can't drink, but you and Papi can," So I need something that pokes fun at the fact that I can't enjoy the coquito.

But I need help with the poem. Any thoughts or ideas on a couple of lines that can start me off? I am stumped!

Welcome to SpanishDict!

Congratulations on little Mateo. It is lovely that he is so loved and wanted before he is in your arms, and sweet that he is already a part of your family.

As far as the poem goes, we are not Hallmark, but if you figure out exactly what you want to say and give us your best attempt, we will polish it up for you. It is not necessary for a poem to rhyme....
