Seré cuidadoso VS estaré cuidadoso

I'm fairly certain that ser is right here, but I am not sure why. It seems that estar is uaually used in a situation like this. What do you think? Gracias.

Seré cuidadoso o tendré cuidado. The other option is not correct smile

Can you explain why not estar here, it seems as if, although ser is correct, that in a case like this usually estar would be the correct one. Gracias.. - jeezzle, Oct 3, 2010
I can't explain that Jeezz, sorry, but trust me it's completly wrong... native word :) - Benz, Oct 3, 2010
In that case you could say "estaré alerta" (as a synonym) but never "estaré cuidadoso" - Benz, Oct 3, 2010
http://www.spanishdict.com/answers/100040/ser-and-estar .. when using cuidadoso you're describing them as having that characterisitc - jeanpm, Oct 3, 2010

Wouldn't you use a form of "tener cuidado"?

Sure for cuidado, but there are usually two ways (at least) to use something and I think ser + cuidadoso is another, I await confirmation. - jeezzle, Oct 3, 2010
