Which one is grammatically correct: Ellos pararon de luchar or Ellos pararon a luchar?

Parar de hacer algo = To stop doing something. So it's de.

The translator here says "Pararon para luchar" means "They stopped to fight". I guess that makes sense, too. - KevinB, Oct 3, 2010
I don't know about "Pararon a luchar". The translator says they're the same. It looks funny to me, though. But I've been known to be wrong. :-) - KevinB, Oct 3, 2010
