Help me stop myself

Ayúdenme que me paro. Is that right? Ayúdenme que me detuvo, what if I wanted to say "Help me stop myself from doing something bad"." Ayúdenme que me detuvo de hacer algo mal(o).

What about "Algo me detuvo de ti" which I found I randomly. Does it say "Something stopped me from you"? what does that mean? Gracias.

The direct object of "ayudar" is the person who is helped. In order to add what the help was about, you need another complement with "a": "Ayudar a alguien a hacer algo". It should be:

Ayúdenme a parar.

Ayúdenme a detenerme.

Ayúdenme a evitar que haga algo malo

But they sound a bit strange. I would definitely say:

No me dejen que haga algo malo.

Deténganme.

Párenme los pies.

What about "Algo me detuvo de ti" which I found I randomly. Does it say "Something stopped me from you"? what does that mean? Gracias.

Too idiomatic. Maybe "Algo me detuvo al pensar en ti / ..."
