How would you say it: "Hablen con su consejero" or "hablen con sus consejeros"? When it is one counselor that they will be talking to? "traigan su expediente" or "traigan sus expedientes" If we are only referring to one expediente they will be bringing?

Thank you!

Hable con su consejero (one person will talk to one counselor)

Hable con sus consejeros (one person will talk to several counselors)

Hablen con su consejero (several people will talk to one counselor)

Hablen con sus consejeros (several people will talk to several counselors).

So I think what you wanted was "Hablen con su consejero" (one counselor) and "Traigan su expediente".

It is hablan not hablen. Hablan con su consjero. They speak with their counselor.

"Hablen" is a polite request here, Ken, not a statement. - lazarus1907, Oct 2, 2010
So you use the imperative to make a polite request? - kenwilliams, Oct 2, 2010
