Skype chat for advanced students: Saturday, October 1st

Question

We will have an advanced chat session tomorrow night, the usual time:

12 am, midnight for Spain

The advanced members will talk about their hometowns, they should prepare something in this line, but they will probably improvise, jeje, so whoever wishes to listen in is invited

Oh..I may not have Internet access, it being Saturday! But if I do, I would love to listen in. I was thinking that midnight for participants in Spain is late, but then I remember working on a project in Barcelona once after which our hosts took us to dinner.

We arrived at 11:30pm, having worked very late. And we were the only people there. I assumed simply that we were the last and very grateful that the restaurant was still willing to serve us.

By midnight, the restaurant was full!

Saturday's chat was a bit different than usual. We all met newcomer Celia who is a native Spaniard learning English and doing quite well I should say. In trying to help her prepare for a presentation she must give in English we learned some interesting stuff about her job, her home town of Guadelajuara,Spain (not Mexíco) and that she too is a diver. Thank you Heidi for inviting the beginners to listen in.

If you are interested to listen into the chat, or participate, you M U S T tell in advance, I did not even see the last 7 or so answers!!

Cathy was there because marianne saw her, Hitches, I am sorry, you were late to say something.

Actually I had called the chat off, but in the end, my student Celia came and the chat did take place. But only Samdie and Valerie who also did not tell me until late afternoon, PM I did not see, were there from the advanced group. Ian still has no headset! so he was talking from inside a tunel, so to speak.

I am sorry about those who did want in, we will organize a chat for a mixed group next time, if the advanced people want in, they have to adapt to the beginners level, as they are either not willing to come or simply not interested.
