could anyone please give me a translation of this text : como siempre, el sábado pasado, salí con mis amigas y fuimos a comer a un bar. estaba muy contenta, pero al llegar allí se me quitaron las ganas. al sentarnos, vinieron unos chicos que nos caen fatal. no pararon de meterse con nosotras y, para colmo, no les dejaba de sonar el movíl. Creía que era el peor día de mi vida hasta que llegó ivan. nos habíamos visto varias veces en el insti, pero nunca habíamos hablado. al ver que sus amigo se metían con nosotras se enfadó y les dijo que lo dejaran. sus amigos se fueron y el nos pidió permiso para sentarse con nosotras. mis amigas se fueron y me invitó a dar una vuelta. fuimos a un sitio solitario. hablamos durante dos horas y me llevó a casa/ ese día tan malo fue el mejor de mi vida.

I just can't leave these things to the computer translator. My apologies to all members who would disagree but, no, sorry...just "took away the win. to sit down, some guys came to us fatal fall" is enough to make me crazy...I know we're not a translation service but I like to translate and I couldn't care less if they've made their own attempt from a faulty translator or if they are actually here to learn Spanish or not because it helps me learn by translating things and I really, truly don't mind doing it at all...and really if this site is for learning aren't these folks who ask for translations doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to practice?

Here's my attempt at this, robynashers, though I'm not a native and can't guarantee complete accuracy I think that this will give you a good idea of what it says: Like always, last Saturday I went out with my friends and we went to eat at a bar. I was very happy, but that ended when we got there (but my "ganas"/enthusiasm was taken away). When we sat down some boys who we really don't like came. They wouldn't stop messing with us and to top it off their cell phone wouldn't stop ringing. I thought that it was the worst day of my life until Ivan got there. We had seen each other several times at the institute, but we had never talked. When he saw that his friends were messing with us he got annoyed and told them to stop it. His friends left and he asked us if it'd be okay for him to sit with us. My friends left and he invited me to go for a walk (or a drive?). We went to a secluded spot. We talked for two hours and he took me home. That day that was so bad was the best day of my life.

You must provide your attempt so that we know what exactly is giving you difficulties. I could read it, so it must be pretty straightforward and uncomplicated. If you only want to know what it says and have no questions about the vocabulary or grammar then I suggest that you enter it into the machine translator.
