Footsteps in the hall, it was you.
If I was talking about a figurative ghost that was like a bad memory walking down the hall and affecting me, and leaving footsteps / making footsteps, would I use "pasos" or "las huellas"?
Las huellas de tus pies marcados en el corrieor, fue tú.
Can someone explain what "marcados" would signify there? I am copying it from someelse that said "footprints" was "las huellas de sus pies marcados" instead of just "huellas". Also is corridor better than pasillo or are they the same for corridor, hallway outside my room? Gracias.
Oigo tus pasos fuera de mi habitación y sé que eres tú. Oí los pasos fuera de mi dormitorio y supe que fue tú. Oía los pasos fuera de mi habitación y oyera que fue tú. ¿Son algunos de estos correctos? / ¿Son correctos algunos de estos? (both ways are correct for the question?)
Gracias de antemano y gracias de costumbre. Hasta pronto, nos vemos al cabo de pasar un rato en la cama o como me suelo decir, hasta luego amigos.
(please check all my work gracias.......)

Las huellas de sus pies marcados en el corridor, fue tú.
Here, there are a couple of mistakes.
First, sus pies (3ª person) is not consistent with tú (2ª).
Second, there is also a semantic redundance, because a huella implies itself marca del pie
And for last, imperfect is required in this kind of sentence. Era is needed, instead of Fue.
Había/Vi huellas en el pasillo... Eras tú.

Ghost's feet left a signal on the ground, a visible trace.
Also is corridor better than pasillo or are they the same for corridor, hallway outside my room?
The word is corredor. Although both words express the same, in my oppinion, pasillo sounds better, because it is a word that, used in this context, can suggest a lot of mystery.
Oigo tus pasos fuera de mi habitación y sé que eres tú.
Right!
Oí los pasos fuera de mi dormitorio y supe que fue tú.
Wrong. Oí los pasos fuera de mi dormitorio y supe que eras tú.
Oía los pasos fuera de mi habitación y oyera que fue tú.
Wrong (both, verb and tense). Oía los pasos fuera de mi habitación y sabía que eras tú.
¿Son algunos de éstos correctos? / ¿Son correctos algunos de éstos? (both ways are correct for the question?)
It is enough to say ¿Son correctos?

If you are talking about the impressions on the floor (footprints), then it's "huellas". If you are just talking about the action of treading, or the sound of footsteps, then it's "pasos".
"Marcados" means "imprinted". As for the stuff about footprints meaning "las huellas de..", that's simply a description of its use. "huellas" itself is fine. "Pasillo" and "corredor" are almost interchangeable to me, although it's possible that there are certain nuances about each word in other regions (edit: yes I just thought about that, corridors inside apartments are called "pasillos" rather than "corredores").
Oigo tus pasos fuera de mi habitación y sé que eres tú. Oí los pasos fuera de mi dormitorio y supe que fue tú. Oía los pasos fuera de mi habitación y oyera que fue tú. ¿Son algunos de estos correctos? / ¿Son correctos algunos de estos? (both ways are correct for the question?)
Oigo/sé/eres : correct.
Oí/supe/fue: incorrect, it should be: Oí/supe/eras
Oía/oyera/fue: incorrect, it should be: oía/sabía/eras
"Marcado" means "marked", or particularly in context of your sentence, "left marked in the dust on the floor". You could omit the word from the sentence without changing the meaning. Right now, it says "Footprints left in the hall, it was you." (left as in past tense of leave, not as opposite of right side
)
EDIT: ...and obviously I can't spell "footprints" correctly ![]()
If I think of a ghost (or of a memory with no real body), I wouldn't imagine its feet, so the problem would be the same with "los pasos" and with "las huellas" (you need feet for both, "para dar pasos" and "para dejar huellas"). You could also use "el rastro", which doesn't need feet, but maybe it's not what you wanted to say. However, if what you're doing is hearing, then I would chose "pasos" (you wouldn't hear "huellas").
Pasillo/Corredor (with E): they are nearly the same, so neither of them would be incorrect. For me "un pasillo" is more modern and they are in appartments, and "un corredor" are bigger and they are found in older buildings.
¿Son algunos de estos correctos? / ¿Son correctos algunos de estos?": you are giving two sentences, and if you use the word "alguno", it involves that both can't be correct. I don't know if I'm making this logical, but if it's "algunos" it is not "todos" and as there are only two, what you question involves is if one of then is correct and the other wrong (one right, one wrong). So the subject must be singular. In addition, "alguno" is a pronoun and if you are asking about "las frases", "las preguntas", las cuestiones"... you should say "alguna de estas". But I don't think that's so important.
I think "marcado" could either mean they are pronounced (there's a big whole in the floor) or just left (someone passed by and now you can see their footprints). I think it is okey if you just say "las huellas", there's no need to say anything else.
Oigo tus pasos fuera de mi habitación y sé que eres tú --> perfectly correct (present) Oí los pasos fuera de mi dormitorio y supe que fue tú. --> "fue" is wrong. You should say "fuiste" (same tense, second person) or "eras" (different tense, second person; I think this one sound better). Oía los pasos fuera de mi habitación y oyera que fue tú. --> "oyera que fue" is completly wrong, you could either say "oí que fuiste", which I wouldn't recommed, or use the same as in the previous sentences: "supe que eras" or "supe que fuiste".
PS: sorry for not respecting the order...
