Costo / coste

Hola, Cual es lo mas común en español para describir la palabra "cost"? Costo o coste?

Por ejemplo, decimos en ingles.... "companies are always trying to reduce their costs" or "cut costs".

Empresas siempre quieren reducir / bajar sus costos?

Gracias,

Aidan

I had to look up coste. Appparently it's used mostly in Spain, so I guess it depends on your audience. I would say costo, but I'm more used to Latin American Spanish.

You can also say, and especially about businesses, "Gastos."

Interesting Kevin, I immediately thought 'la reducción de costes' 'reducir los costes'...
