no he hablado con el hombre porqué todo lo que hizo estaba refunfuñando acerca del tiempo
i didnt talk to the man because all he did was grumble about the weather
the problem i have is the "hizo estaba"... etc. that part. not sure if it is right.. and also if the word "about" is right in that context

Since "all he did was" refers to a habitual action in the past, shouldn't it be era instead of fue? - lorenzo9, Sep 29, 2010
