"My friend, I did not hear them"

Question

I need to put these sentences into either Spanish, French or Italian. Doing this at night on a cell phone is a task.

"My friend, I did not hear them." "Danger was possible." "Gibberish followed to protect you."

In French :

"Mon ami, je ne les ai pas entendu."

"Il y avait une possibilité de danger"

"Galimatias suivait afin de vous protéger."

There are probably better ways to translate the last sentence.
