why do we use "le" in le presento a. le voy a
i know it is formal, but everytime i try to find a good explanation in grammar like where it comes from, why it is used etc. it jst doesnt give it. it just tells me where to use it.
i used to think it was him or her haha.. which it also is i guess,
could anyone give me some insight into this?
and if it is a girl do you say
la presento a mi amigo
does it refer to amigo, or the person you are introducing (the person u r talking to)
thanks! ![]()

Le presento a mi amigo
(A usted) le presento a mi amigo. Se lo presento.
La presento a mi amigo
Wrong!
Le presento esta señorita a mi amigo. or
Se la presento.
Se ( yo a usted/yo a mi amigo) la (esta señorita) presento.
you answer yourself (What?) --> Direct complement --> always is used la/las or lo/los
