Typically, in the shows I've seen, couples call each other the following...

Corazón (heart)

Tesoro (treasure)

Cielo (heaven)

Linda / Lindo (cute one) (remember, guys call girls linda, girls call guys lindo)

These are all interchangeable and are usually said with the same tone/flavor when couples here call each other dear, honey, sweetie-pie, sweetheart, baby, etc.

How'd your day go, Dear? => ¿Cómo te fue el día, tesoro?

Could you hand me the cup, please, baby? => ¿Podrías darme el tazo, cielo?

Querido/a = darling, dear sweetheart

Amante =lover

Cariño/a = dear, honey, love

Nena = darling, honey

= Ser la niña de los ojos = To be the apple of somebody's eye

I hope this helps grin
