In Mexico, it's usually written with the exact job title rather than "help" or "employee," ie: Se Solicita Albañil ........... Bricklayer Wanted

In Spain is exactly the same (although solicita and albañil are theoretically in lower case) - lazarus1907, Sep 28, 2010

If it's for help in the home (such as a maid) it would be:

Se necesita empleado/a.

or

Se busca empleado/a.

This sounds too much like someone asking someone to help them. Se necesita empleado o se busca empleado seem more clear to me, but even that can be misconstrued as seeking employment. The problem with impersonal se or passive se is that the subject or agent is not identified. We don't know if it is the employer or the potential employee speaking.

Hi, Barrett. Welcome to the forum.

I'd say something like:

Se busca ayuda

--or--

Se solicita ayuda
