Please use proper spelling grammer and puntuation in your questions as this is a teaching and learning site - FELIZ77, Sep 27, 2010

Create a Vocabulary list of flashcards containing the words that you wish to practice.

You can't place pictures in your flashcards on this site, but there are other sites where you can. If you have a visual memory, like I do, this might help you more. (see a picture of a backpack and match it to mochila rather than matching backpack=mochila).

I agree qfreed- it's much better to associate with an object or concept rather than a translation when learning a target language anyway! - la-maestra-roja, Sep 27, 2010

Some other SpanishDict members have created flashcards you can try. Search for "classroom" on the Flashcards page (this link will take you to those search results: Classroom Cards). I think some sets have pictures.

One of the best tips I know is to make some sort of strange association with the new vocabulary.

For example: If you are trying to remember 'mochila', imagine you have stuffed your backpack full of so MUCH stuff that it starts bursting at the seems- 'much' sounds like 'moch...' and will put you on the right track. You could even imagine it is stuffed full of mocha lattes!

For 'la aula'- imagine an owl sitting at the front of the class teaching. Just make something creative up for each word.

You can also try making yourself some flashcards using pictures of each of the objects. The important thing is to make it fun!

This is a great tool for memorizing in general!

¡Buena suerte!

While it is rather late to be starting, don't try to spend more than about 20 minutes at once working on your memorization. Focus for about that long, do something else for a while, then come back and focus again. And by focus I mean: no TV, no texting, no video gaming - though some people find background music helpful.

The easy way would have been to have started studying back when the words were introduced, rather than waiting until the last minute. What you want now is not an easy way but a magic way.
