May I sit here?

I'm wondering about the may, and I think it's "¿Te importa si me siento aquí?". What if I said "Está bien si me siento aquí" or "Qué tal si me siento aquí" or "está abiero este asiento" or "Alguien está usando este asiento / silla" do they all work? Gracias

"What if I sit like this?"
I expect you meant "¿qué tal si me siento aquí?
Still, this could be taken as a challenge, rather than an attempt to be polite: "what if I sit here"? "What about me sitting here"? I wouldn't recommend using this one.
