Confused with some wording
The bolded part is confusing to me. I don't know if "desde luego" means "of course" there or "since then" or "from then" or what it is exactly saying, though I know what it wants to say.
Ahora escúcheme. Admito ser algo cínico, pero lo que desde luego lo que si soy, lo he sido toda mi vida, es contrario a la violencia. Me enorgullece no haber participado en ningún combate de boxeo porque yo he escogido vivir mi vida en compañía de Gandhi y de King. Mis preocupaciones son globales. Yo rechazo absolutamente las venganzas, represalias y agresiones. Y el fundamento de este método es... el amor. Le amo sheriff Truman.

Still on Twin Peaks I see. I found this quote online. So I guess the Spanish translator didn't feel like dealing with "naysayer and hatchetman".
