The following is a prayer I will present Sunday. Please help me with corrections. AND please add your own personal prayer, if you would like. (I would strengthen mine with yours.)

Oramos por tu sabiduría en nuestras vidas [your wisdom in our lives - sounds better that "orientación" or "consejos", which are two common translations for "guidance"].

Proverbios 3:5.

Here is my prayer to add to yours:

Filipenes 1:9-11

And this is my prayer; that your love love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ--to the glory and praise of God. Philippians 1:9-11

Good idea and good prayer. You could maybe add this as well:

We pray in order that en everything God be glorified through Jesus Christ, to who belongs the glory and the dominion for ever and ever. Amen

After this manner therefore pray ye:

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Matthew Chapter 6: 9-15

I think this prayer speaks for itself.

Pavorotti sings Ave Maria in Latin, but the listener, need not know the language, the words are translated to feeling, and need no explanation.... Enjoy.....

You are correct Echoline, thanks! - 002262dd, Sep 25, 2010
Exactly Joe, I still think that the Latin mass has more feeling whether you understand it or not . - ray76, Sep 25, 2010
