Both ways are fine. While "par" (like "couple") has the basic meaning of "two", as with "couple" in English, in ordinary conversation, people are often rather casual about "precise" meanings.

I agree both with Samdie and Kawalero. - Gekkosan, Sep 24, 2010

"Par" en este caso es más de una pregunta, como mínimo dos ( 2 es el primer número par). Esta bien traducir por "unas preguntas", ya que al ser plural también implica más de una.

Hmmm. To me un par means exactly one pair of questions. I would have said unas preguntas - a few questions, some questions. I think that implies the same meaning as "a couple of questions".

Do you think? Un par de preguntas has 2 million hits on google, and it's what the cops said in this show, 2 million seems high for exactly one pair of questions, which seems like would be rare to encounter. Gracias. - jeezzle, Sep 23, 2010
Well, I could be wrong. It happened once before. :-). Frankly, if they used it in a TV soundtrack and 2 million people agree, I'd tend to accept it without question. - KevinB, Sep 23, 2010
