lol, but it is all how you say it....

most of the time, i hear it sarcastically, like, "I only got a 93% on the test... i wanted a 100%" "Pobrecito!" and is most usually used face to face with that person.
(it sounds like baby talk... "ito" at the end of a word means "little one" in most cases. "ito" at the end of a name can sometimes mean junior -Jr.- such as Juanito if his father's name is Juan)

but you can use it if say, someone's father died or if a child broke an arm.
