Does Spanish have collective nouns like English has? In a sentence which is correct? " El pescado es bueno" OR "Los pescados son buenos".

If there are collective nouns, what are some common ones?.

Yor are correct to use "el pescado" in the singular. In English we might say "Fish is good", but in Spanish it sounds better to use "delicious": "el pescado es delicioso" or "el pescado es sabroso". Or - "el pescado es bueno para la salud" - "fish is good for one's health".

Why don't you do a web search on "collective nouns in Spanish"?
