Acabo de leer en un roman de Pérez-Reverte "con mucho de la mano izquierda". Estoy adivinando que eso es algo como "tiene mucho tacto".

"con mucha mano izquierda" or "con mano izquierda" is an idiom, it means that you are trying to do something carefully, not in an abusive way, in order to get what you want without stepping on other people's toes. It is used as an adverb "resuelve este problema con mucha mano izquierda por favor", but it can be remade into a description of a person: "mi hermano tiene mucha mano izquierda"
