Understanding mas y más
I'm just hoping somebody can give me some clarity on mas and más. I thought I understood how these were used, but am now feeling a bit confused and think I just need to start fresh. The more detailed the better for me and I really appreciate a bunch of examples. ¡Gracias!

"mas" means: "and", or "but"
"más" means "more".
mas means but
and más means, more or plus
Dos más dos son cuatro

I totally get "más," but this is the first I am hearing about "mas."
