The sentence says, " Tambien la nube habia visto a la nina y le habia gustado mucho."
I am guessing this means ... The cloud took a look at the girl too and took a strong liking to her.

It's rather ambiguous. This is one of those occasions where adding a clarification tag or a subject pronoun would have been helpful.
le había gustado [ella] could mean "she had pleased it" or it had liked her.
or
le había gustado [a ella] could mean "it had pleased her" or that "she had liked being seen."
