Dear Qwleyes,

In that case it would be said of a place that it's well connected or that it has a good transportation system. I hope this helps you.

If the meaning is that a location has good communication systems in place, I would say just that:

The place has good communications systems.

There isn't any idiomatic way to say it.

Is that what you intended to say by "el lugar esta bien comunicado"?

If a place "está bien comunicado", it always implies well connected, with good roads and/or public transport nearby. For "good communication systems" we'd say "este lugar cuenta con una buena infraestructura de comunicaciones", for example - bill1111, Sep 22, 2010
