I am trying to use the word "left", as in what is remaining apposed to direction.

Examples: You are the only one left. This is all that is left,

would it be the pass tense of dejar? dejado? The translator gave me the word quedo, so I'm not sure

"You are" or "You're". "Your" means it belongs to you. - Gekkosan, Sep 20, 2010

"quedar" is the right word: "él último que queda".

Gekko, could you say "la única persona que aún existe"? I assume he means the only person left alive. (on the planet).

You *can* say it, but it is far more economical and natural to say: "el/la único(a) que queda". When someone this he or she is very special, we say: "piensa que es la última pepsicola del desierto". - Gekkosan, Sep 20, 2010
