Actually, "coffee, black" is correct, technically, implying "coffee that is prepared in such a way as to be black" (while "black coffee" more directly denotes "coffee that is black"), though the "coffee, black" construction is much more uncommon. - Soninmyeyes, Nov 7, 2010
