is 'dierme' not sleep in spanish?

I can't find dierme as sleep on this site, but in my spanish class, we learned sleep as that. Any tips as to what I'm doing wrong?

Hey, welcome to the forum!
Check your spelling...you have either misread your notes or copied something incorrectly. The proper spelling is "duerme".

Hi, and welcome to the site! You're just remembering the spelling wrong. To sleep = dormir in Spanish, and it is a stem-changing verb, so to say "Juan sleeps" = "Juan duerme." For a full conjugation look here.
