History is the noun. German is the adjective. Mind you, as Late says, you should have posted your question as "Spanish history".

Tricky question! ... In what language?

On a Spanish themed website, in English, you are asking about German history.

You have the English correct, as a nationality German is capitalized, and history is a common noun.

In Spanish, neither German - alemán nor history - historia would be capitalized.

In German, the noun history - Geschicte, would be capitalized. Die deutsche Geschicte.

Unless, of course, any of them are at the beginning of a sentence ...

Rats Thank you Eddy, I was responding to the caption - or title rather than the question!

No, they are not 2 nouns, German, alemán, or deutsch describe the only noun, history.
