What you might have seen is "soltero," which means "single" or "unmarried."
I would guess the same as Joyce, but Solero can also be used as an idiom, ie: A guy who likes to be in the sun (el sol) alot, or a guy who likes the beer, "Sol" (Marca Sol - Beer brand "Sol"). These are not necessarily established idioms, but ways of creative expression.
