Phrase help: Eres tu?
Hey eres tu
This was said to me by a friend. I don't understand, I can translate this to you are you or it is you. Does this mean anything besides those two? Is it a greeting between friends?

It usually means, "Is that you?" or "Is it you?" but it can also mean "Are you you?" If the context was just "Hey, ¿eres tú?" it does seem a bit odd, but I can see it on the phone or something, to make sure it was you your friend was speaking to and not someone else. Sometimes when someone just says "hello" it's hard to tell who is speaking.
Were you chatting online? If so, it does make sense ¿eres tú? in that context
¿Eres tu Bebita? = Are you Bebita?
