"La cita de hoy debe pasar 2-3 horas" o "La cita de hoy debe tener 2-3 horas" ...

I'm trying to say that "Today's appointment will take 2-3 hours"

the verb you should use is ´durar´ (to last), not ´pasar´.

Now, if you say debe durar you´r e saying it must take.... To express probability you have to use deber + de. For instance, it´s probably on Friday = debe de ser el viernes.
