Hello everybody!

So it's my turn, and now I realise how special it is to have the lovely pics as well as the words. I've really enjoyed reading everyone's comments and seeing how you've tailored them for me, they are wonderfully personal!

On November 4th I'll have been hanging around on SD for a year, I didn't get going seriously until the end of March this year when I stopped playing a certain well-known MMORPG.

I recently discovered that my co-musician at morris dancing who plays accordion and is now 71, had to live in Spain when she was a teenager due to her parent's health problems - she didn't want to and she certainly didn't want to learn another language but she did, and she is loaning me her old Spanish GCSE course which will be good revision for me. Funny that I've been seeing her for 4 years and never knew until the other day when we were looking for books at an event we were dancing and playing at, and I told her I was hoping to find one written in Spanish! (I didn't of course, it's England...)

So, thank you all for everything - I could have found a picture with more 'huggers' but the puppies are soooo cute.

¡Qué tengáis un día estupendo!

y, a la Dave Allen.

May your God go with you

What ever happened to Dave Allen? - fontanero, Sep 17, 2010

The puppies are really cute!! And so is your idea, group hug!! - bandit51jd, Sep 17, 2010

He died peacefully in his sleep on March 10 2005. I saw a tv show of his from the '90's quite recently, he was so clever. :) - galsally, Sep 18, 2010

Answer 2

Well done Sally.

I seem to remember that you're a midwife. I hope you haven't encountered a father like this !

My apologies if my memory is inaccurate.

Unfortunately it's the medical staff, not the parents, who tend to be in a hurry. :-( - Gekkosan, Sep 16, 2010

Ours weren't ! - fontanero, Sep 16, 2010

That is really funny!! - jeezzle, Sep 16, 2010

Only if my memory is good. - fontanero, Sep 16, 2010

Agreed gekkosan, a good midwife is patient but women truly are at the mercy of the individual attendant at a time when they are most vulnerable. - galsally, Sep 17, 2010

Excellent font thank you. :) - galsally, Sep 17, 2010

Was my memory ok ? - fontanero, Sep 17, 2010
