i dont know what's diffierent between paseo and avenida 2 words. avenida is bigger or paseo is bigger?

This is the equivalent of "what would be bigger, Street or Road". Where I live, we have streets bigger than roads and vice versa.

It's not so clear-cut. I think "avenidas" tend to be among the biggest streets, but there's some really big "paseos" as well:

Paseo is a very wide street that can have a park-like medium strip in the middle. It is so big, there is enough room to have a 16 de septiembre parade like this one on Paseo de la Reforma in Mexico City link text

Avenida is a wide street, but tends to have slightly less of a feeling of size than Paseo.

In the nearest big town, avenidas run parallel to the beach, calles run perpendicular, and El Paseo is the mall. I doubt that this is anywhere near universal.
