Is 'cuatrocientos' the correct way to say 400 in Spanish? It's just a guess, so I'm sure it's not right...

You have it right - even it was just a guess!
You also asked your question well. We want you to try to answer yourself, and we are grateful when you do, and much quicker to help.
Though the translation option on this site does not do a good job with complicated phrases, it usually translates numbers correctly. Click on the translation tab at the top of the page and write out the English number - in this case four hundred is how you would write it - and the translation engine will give you the answer.
