How would you translate "to lie about family problems" to Spanish? over or about?

Sorry, but I think that "mentir de" is not correct

"Hablar de" would be right, but mentir is a different verb.

So, you can say Mentir sobre los problemas, or also

Mentir acerca de los problemas, perhaps
