Lawn care question

The people who take care of my grandfather's lawn blow rocks into his driveway when they use a leaf blower. These rocks bounce off his pickup truck, leaving marks and collecting in the bed. These men do not speak any English, only Spanish, and he wants to know how he can ask them not to blow rocks in the driveway.

Señores, por favor no soplen gravilla sobre el camino de entrada. Las piedras arañazan mi camioneta. Would that work?

Works for me. I'm sure that they will understand even if it is not 100% gramatically correct. Rayar may be a better word for scratch in this context. - 0074b507, Sep 15, 2010
