Good morning, Soulflower. Great question!
I found this in the Phrasebook, which is located under the "More" tab at the top of the screen.
Don't burst my bubble! = No me quites la ilusión/ los sueños
While "no me quites la ilusión" would be understood, it isn't the common way of saying that. In Spain we use "aguar la fiesta", which is more or less a translation of "to rain on someone's parade".
e.g.: "y si al final no consigues el dinero, ¿cómo vas a pagarlo?. Venga ya, no me agües la fiesta"
"what if you don't get the money, how are you going to pay for all that?. Ah come on, don't burst my bubble"
If you want a colloquial expression, lamento tener que pincharte el globo.
