No you are saying treament of a root as in a tree & canal as in a body of water. the correct way to say root canal in spanish is; Tratamiento de Endodontico.

I agree with Chineseeggplant, this is the name of the place in a tooth. The sometimes-painful repair of this part of the tooth would be "Tratamiento del conducto de radicular."
