Vt welcome to the forum grin

Heidita and Samdie have given you very accurate and clear answers to your question so I don't intend to replicate their responses but simply to point out that you have used the Portuguese spelling of the words..

I have just checked with my Portuguese dictionary and it confirmed what I thought true these words are the same/ equivalent of their Spanish counterparts and so have the same meaning in Portuguese.

Below you can see the difference in spelling between the languages

¿Cuántas/os ? (Spanish) = Quantas/os ? (Portuguese) = how much/ many?

¿Cuándo? (Spanish) = Quando? (Portuguese) = When?

The Portuguese (Brazilian) uses a 'Q' where the Spanish uses a 'C' The sound is similar but the Spanish sound is generally softer (I know since I have a Brazilian Girlfriend lol )

I hope that this helps: grin

The difference lies in the gender of the nouns that they modify.
