My friend always asks me "que entonces, mi amiga"? And I always just laugh and say nada. Que entonces = basically means, what then, like what shall we do now? I believe

How can I respond to him? Can I say nada o let's sleep o i want to watch tv? Please give me some suggestions. Thanks!

This would be a great little exercise to do for yourself. Write out in English a list of 10 answers you might want to give him, then use what Spanish you know, along with the translation tab here at SpanishDict along with the dictionary and give it your best shot. Then post your answers here and we will correct them if they need correction.

The Spanish that you learn the most quickly are the words and phrases that you use most often, so these would be great ones to start off with.

Good luck!

You can say whatever you want. It's just like our "whatcha wanna do?"

"¿Qué entonces?" is an idiomatic way of saying "¿Entonces qué?"

With your "nothing"-answer, you can respond in the same idiomatic way with "Que nada," or ie: "Que quiero que nos vayamos al cine."
