how do you day "green card" in Spanish? I looked it up in the dictionary but I couldn't find anything. Note: this is not a credit card. It's a pass to allow foreigners to work in the US. Thank you!

As far as I know, they either just say "una visa" or "los papeles" meaning the proper papers.

Technically it's a permiso de residencia = residency permit, but almost everyone calls them los papeles. They aren't really green, either. They're sort of beige.
