How do I say 'It was my academic minor (or minor) in college (or university)"?
I am trying to describe my studies of the Spanish language using common language or "street lingo" without appearing to be too stilted or stuffy. Can one correctly say "It was my minor in university." or "Era mi menor en universidad." as an expression among friends in Spanish?
Thanks.

It's a hard one to translate. Generally, "concentración" is used for "major" and "concentración menor" is used for "minor". There may be other ways, also, but these are the terms I am familiar with.
