Tía and tío mean aunt and uncle, but in Spain the terms are used informally with friends and acquaintances to mean something like buddy, pal, mate, or even just man/woman. They can also be used in a less-friendly way, such as "¡que tía mas exigente!" ("what a demanding woman!"). So, the phrase "¡que tía eres!" needs context - it could equally mean "what a wonderful woman you are!" or "what an awful woman you are!"

I found this which might help: Tía

Also, apparently in Peru - tío/tía is used to refer to an old(er) person, as in viejo/vieja. But I'm not sure if this fits your context.
