¡Hola! Could someone please help me out? I need to know the Spanish versions of the names of Adam,Eve,Cain,Abel, and the serpent. It's for a SundaySchool Project.

Gracias!

Spanish Bible

If you do not have a Spanish Bible I suggest you go to this site and look in one of the several versions that they have.

  • Adam=Adán
  • Eve=Eva
  • Cain=Caín
  • Abel=Abel
  • Serpent=la serpiente

Since it is not homework.

By the way, it is Génesis (Sp.) or Genesis (Eng.)

Darn. I couldn't spell Abel correctly even when I was looking at it in the Bible. - 0074b507, Sep 9, 2010

You could try looking something up on google like "Spanish equivilants to English names" and see what you find.

Why don't you try to look them up in sites where you can find a bilingual reference? I mean, when I need to know those names, I try Wikipedia in one language, and then change to the other.
